Biographie de Gaziza Shabdarbaeva

My name is Gaziza Shabdarbaeva, and I am the designer and founder of the brand Inclover. We proudly became the first Kazakhstani brand to dress celebrities for the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival and the first to showcase our collection at Haute Couture Paris. The essence of our brand lies in romantic style and elegant femininity, expressed through silhouettes that gracefully accentuate the female form.

My passion for clothing design began in childhood, sparked by a fascination with redesigning any garment I could find at home. I experimented and learned to sew independently, and I was fortunate to gain invaluable hands-on experience in my grandmother’s atelier while still in school. Immersed in the world of craftsmanship, I delved into the intricacies of pattern-making, construction, and tailoring, mastering the art of garment creation.

During my university years, my hobby blossomed into a small business as I began sewing custom outfits to earn pocket money. Years later, while watching me sew, my mother-in-law imparted words that I will cherish forever: “When you are given a talent but do not share it with the world, it is a sin.” The very next day, I took a bold step and opened my own atelier.

Inclover made its debut on the world’s most prestigious fashion stage at Paris Haute Couture Week with the collection TAMYR, which translates to “Roots Interwoven with the Future” in Kazakh. It was in the heart of Paris, on the runway where trends are born and new standards are set, that the name of a Kazakhstani brand resonated for the first time.

The TAMYR collection is more than just clothing; it is a narrative woven through fabric and ornamentation, a reflection on our past, and a daring leap into the future. Delicate lace, macramé, beads, lamé, and a variety of textures converge in each piece, carrying traditions reimagined for the modern woman. The profound symbolism of the shanyrak and argali horns, paired with a noble color palette, meticulous craftsmanship, and precise tailoring, creates a bridge between eras, showcasing strength, elegance, and national pride.

Inclover is not merely a Kazakhstani brand on the global stage; it is a voice of culture, artfully interwoven into the rich tapestry of haute couture.
